By creating an account or using Drop In, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Who can use Drop In

You must be at least 13 years old (or older where local law requires) to use Drop In.

Zero tolerance for abuse

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You agree not to:

• Bully, harass, threaten, or intimidate anyone.
• Show or share nudity, sexual content, or anything involving minors in a sexual way.
• Share hate speech or content that attacks people based on who they are.
• Show graphic violence, promote self-harm, or encourage illegal activity.
• Spam people, impersonate others, or try to break or misuse the app.
• Use a profile photo that breaks any of these rules.
• Record other people without their permission.

If someone breaks these rules, use Report and Block (tap ••• on their video or next to their name, or press and hold one of their messages). We review reports within 24 hours. Depending on what happened, we may take no action, send a warning, or ban the account — a banned email address or username can't be used to sign up again.

Your account

Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens on your account. You can delete your account at any time from inside the app.

Drop In Plus (optional membership)

Drop In is free to use. Drop In Plus is an optional paid membership with extras (for example Droplet outfits and effects, extra looks and app icons, a badge and name colors, backdrops, bigger reactions, early access to new games and detailed stats). Hanging out, games and messages stay free for everyone.

• Price and length: $3.99 a month or $29.99 a year (US prices; the price in your currency is shown before you pay). New members can get a free first week; it turns into a paid membership unless you cancel before the week ends.
• Automatic renewal: Plus renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. In the iPhone app, payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, and your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before then. On the website, payment is handled by Stripe and renews the same way.
• Cancelling: iPhone app — open your iPhone's Settings › your name › Subscriptions (or Drop In › Settings › Drop In Plus › Manage membership). Website — Drop In › Settings › Drop In Plus › Manage membership. You keep Plus until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting your Drop In account does not cancel a membership bought through Apple — cancel it in your Apple ID settings.
• Refunds: purchases made through Apple are refunded by Apple under Apple's rules (reportaproblem.apple.com). For website purchases, email us and we'll help.
• What's included can change: we add new extras over time (like a new Droplet pack each month) and may change or retire some. If your membership ends, Plus extras stop showing, but your choices are kept in case you come back.

Streak restores (optional purchase)

If a streak with a friend ends, you can bring it back within 48 hours with a streak restore: a one-time purchase of $0.99 (US price; the price in your currency is shown before you pay), or one free restore a month with Drop In Plus. It doesn't renew. A restore you've bought is used up once it brings a streak back. Refunds work the same way as for Drop In Plus.

Our rights

We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms, and we may change or stop parts of the service. The app is provided "as is", without warranties, to the extent the law allows.
